Rashad Evans vs Chuck Liddel at UFC 85

"Sugar" Rashad Evans steps in for the injured Mauricio “Shogun” Rua to fight Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell in London at UFC 85.

Evans (16-0-1) first made his mark when he won the heavyweight finale of The Ultimate Fighter season 2. He then dropped to 205 pounds and has been on fire since with wins over notable fighters like Stephan Bonnar and Michael Bisping and his fight against Tito Ortiz in July of '07 ended in a draw.

I think this is the end of the line for Rashad's undefeated streak. He definitely doesn't want to stand in front of Chuck the whole fight.

Yeah, I agree. I think this will be a troublesome fight for Rashad.

I don't see Rashad getting takedowns on Chuck, I see Rashad throwing hands. That will probably lead to Rashad seeing stars.

I work with one of Chuck's sparring partners. He was with chuck last week and says he looks great for this fight. He is already near weight and training like a mad-man. Chuck has had enough with letting the decision go to the judges. I think Chuck looks for the KO early. My perdiction, Chuck will win in impresive style. Check out my blog MMA Perspective.
